Financial aid

There are scholarship organizations and programs with which international students can finance their stay in Germany. Usually these are offered to students with good academic records.

DAAD  (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst  / German Academic Exchange Service)

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the largest German provider of scholarships for foreign students. It offers full and partial scholarships. In addition, there are national and international companies and foundations that award scholarships to students who wish to study in Germany. BAföG (Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz / Federal Student Loans Law)

Under certain circumstances, international students can receive BaföG. It is subject to the provisions of BaföG Act and the Aliens Act. More information HERE

Baden-Württemberg scholarship

This scholarship supports students of partner universities of the KH Freiburg who wish to study in Freiburg for one or two semesters. More information on exchange students.

Foundations
